Imagine you’re trialling a demo of a new plugin, but instead, it’s a sample pack.

So, here’s a little process for trying out sample packs. Because with services like Splice Sounds, this list of free samples and a whole lot more, you can get caught up in collecting packs and not making much music. Now I know you’ve probably downloaded some of our packs already, and you’re armed, ready to get a whole bunch more.īut I want to talk for a second about the importance of not having too many samples. I wish you could just select a master folder and import all libraries at once, but I could figure out how to do that, if it's possible.Recommended: How To Sample Music: The Complete Guide Before You Keep Going You can't simply select the a 'master' folder that contains *all* libraries. You have to select an individual library each time. Just click on the 'Add Library' button in the browser and navigate to the folder of the library.

Bit time consuming, but worked out just fine. I had to add each library to Kontakt manually. Hey folks, ok, so I tried installing K9U as described in the posts above, but it still doesn't work!! I too have the K9U sample content on an external hard drive, and simply want to install K9U on my MacBook Pro!! I deselected the content checkbox during install and left the applications and plugins checkboxes selected, everythig seemed to go smoothly, until I opened Kontakt and noticed I can't seem to point the application to the content on the external hard drive!! I tried just selecting the entire content folder but that didn't work!! Anybody, somebody, please, HELP!!I just went through this myself.
